The world will be a much happier place when skipping becomes a more acceptable thing for adults to do.
It's fabulous exercise! And it's fun! If you dare!
This blog is about my (and others') efforts to make the world a happier place one skip a time.
For more information about the skipping movement visit iskip.com and come skip w/ me at twitter.com/iskip.

Question:
anyone have stats on whether people on average can skip faster than they can run?
Speaking strictly from personal experience, I think generally speaking that people skip slower than they run. When I skip on the treadmill I set it anywhere from 4.0 - 5.0 and not much faster.
There is a study by someone named Minnetti out there that says that skipping burns more metabolic energy than running at the same speeds, I'm pretty sure. But actually sustaining running speeds while skipping is easier said than done.
